CTEK D250S DUAL
Drawing its energy from the vehicle alternator, the CTEK D250S Dual “Charge While You Drive” Battery Charger delivers a safe, powerful 20A charge to the back-up leisure battery while the vehicle is on the move. It is also able to gather energy from multiple DC power sources – such as auxiliary generators, solar panels or wind power generators – to allow additional maintenance charging of both the leisure battery and engine starter battery when parked.
Whatever the power source, the CTEK D250S Dual will optimize the available power, stepping up the charging voltage delivered to the service battery in dual battery set ups by using its microprocessor-controlled smart charging algorithms.

For faster charging in situations where high-power devices are in use, or when driving shorter distances, CTEK SmartPass allows the system to deliver more power to the secondary battery, helping the user to control power consumption by isolating critical functions from non-critical power consumers. It is therefore possible to help ensure that items such as emergency lighting will remain in operation after secondary functions have shut down. It also senses battery temperature and protects your secondary battery from overheating and overcharging, which could sometimes be caused by inferior high-speed charging systems.

SYSTEM MONITOR
To inform the user about battery status, the System Monitor (which is also supplied with the CTEK 100A Off Road Power System) keeps you in the loop by continually monitoring the service battery’s state of charge, voltage and amperage. Furthermore, it has a “Time to Go” display, letting the user know when the battery will be fully charged or discharged at the current usage-rate.
